Hotel Crocus
Thanks to its unique environment, the High Tatras are one of the most competitive places in the hotel segment in Slovakia. For our client, Hotel Crocus, we therefore needed to create a website that would differentiate the hotel from other hotel facilities in the area. Did we succeed?
There are places that attract people more than others. If a hotel in a less well-known location needs a website, it can get by with a simple solution, knowing that no one will bother it. But how do you arrange yourself if you seat in a place that is destination of tens of thousands of tourists from all over Slovakia and abroad for most of the year? You need a website that is clear, fast, with a good structure and which, in addition to accommodation, also offers you a comprehensive service from the point of view of information about the given destination. If you’re arriving in a destination you’re unfamiliar with, you don’t want to spend most of your stay planning leisure activities. The key to success is comprehensive customer service.
Speed – Content – Conversions
The client’s experience provided us with a good basis for the beginning of our cooperation. Based on feedback from guests who like to return to the hotel, the client did not want to dramatically change the design of the website. However, updating the design was necessary. After several consultations, we finally reached a solution that both parties were satisfied with.
We cleaned the code from non-functional junk and focused especially on a big step forward from the point of view of loading speed of the website. We succeeded in this mainly thanks to updating the CMS, templates and removing unnecessary plugins and interactive elements.
Since the website for any hotel is created mainly with the aim of selling stays, we needed an integration of the reservation system. The choice fell on the Previo system, with which the client had very good experience. In addition, the system offers quality tracking options for reservations made.
The result is an updated and fast website with enough sub-pages for blogs and informative articles and a well-connected booking system. And as the client said, “That’s what I was looking for.”
